How to redeem shares  in FAMI?

This is to share with you guys on how I redeem some of my shares in FAMI. This is just to check how long is the redemption process will take.

First and foremost I printed the redemption form from the website. But before that, I messaged the online personnel on the FAMI website about the procedure on how to redeem shares. She sent me the form that I need to fill it up. After filling up the form. I send the scan copy to FAMI customer care associate together with the copy of my one valid ID. Fami will not process the request without sending them the original copy of the redemption form and copy of the ID. I send them through LBC courier. You can either pouch it through any metrobank branch with the code # 90020. 

There is no redemption/exit fee if you’re investment is already six months . For below six months there is 1% fee. 

Waiting period is approximately 7 days. You may claim the cheque personally in FAMI office or through bank deposit. I requested them to deposit the cheque to my BPI account. Be sure that your bank account is same name with your FAMI account name. Allow the bank for a 2 days clearance, for non-metrobank account and one day for metrobank account. Please note that BDO is not accepting cheque deposits as per experienced. 

I will give FAMI a rate of 10/10 for the redemption process.
